After his first gig, Cobain moved to Olympia, WA. This city was a bohemian oasis. He lived with Tracy Marander, who helped him write songs for the band Nevermind. Kurt Cobain lived in the 114 Pear Street house until 1991. The singer died on Sept. 13, 1991, and his body was found on the street.
