Traveling by public transit to Angle Lake Park

In September, Seattle’s public transit network will be enhanced with the opening of a new light rail station in Angle Lake. The station is located near Sea-Tac International Airport and will replace the Metro Route 122. It will also offer a free park and ride area and local bus connections.

The 1.6 mile long light rail segment will take riders from the Sea-Tac/Airport Station to Angle Lake. The trip will take 41 minutes. Depending on the time of day, trains will run every 6 to 10 minutes.

The station will be a major draw for commuters from around the city, especially during peak travel hours. It’s expected to add 5,400 boardings each weekday.
